Island
Life is the popular series of artist showcase events launched by Island
Records in summer 2014. Most recently, Island Life took over this
year’s SXSW (South By Southwest) Music Conference in Austin, TX. To
commemorate its first successful year, some of Island Records biggest
stars are taking over New York’s Best Buy Theater on September 8th.
This concert will feature a star-studded lineup including American Authors, Kiesza, Nick Jonas, Shawn Mendes
and Timeflies. There will also be surprise guests and appearances.
Tickets go on sale to the public on Wednesday, August 5th at Noon at AXS.com.
American
Authors is an alternative rock and country band from Brooklyn, with a
RIAA triple-platinum #1 hit “Best Day Of My Life” and brand new hit
single “Go Big Or Go Home” off their upcoming sophomore album due out
October. Kiesza is a Canadian-born singer-songwriter who went
multi-platinum worldwide with her debut single “Hideaway” from her #1
Dance debut album, Sound Of a Woman. Nick Jonas is a singer-songwriter
who had back-to-back hit singles titled “Chains” and “Jealous” from his
multi-platinum self-titled debut album. Shawn Mendes is a Canadian-born
16-year old sensation who had a RIAA gold #1 debut single “Life of The
Party” from his #1 album debut, Handwritten. Timeflies is a musical duo
from New York who has released a string of hit singles like “I Choose
U,” “All The Way,” and their brand new hit “Worse Things Than Love” from
their new album Just For Fun due out September 18th.
This musical
event is presented by Marriott Rewards. Marriott Rewards is Marriott

Rewards will be lucky recipients of tickets to this one-night-only
concert and ten of those lucky Marriott Rewards members will be able to
meet the artists in person.
