The Radio City Christmas Spectacular in it’s 77th year is still just that, Spectacular!
This show is exciting for beginning to end! With those dazzlingly dancers known as the Radio City Rockettes. From showcasing their kick-line skills in the very first number “Sleighride”, getting your toe tapping in the tap-oriented “The Twelve Days of Christmas” to military precision in the breathtaking domino fall in “The Parade of the Wooden Soldiers.” The Rockettes performances capture the holiday spirit to the max.
While being the star attraction, the Rockettes share the show with various singers and dancers. The various singer and dancers talents is especially used in “Let Christmas Shine.”
Other memorable numbers are “I See Santas Everywhere” and “Magic is There.” In these numbers Santa explain how he can be in more than one place at once. It is a delight to see all of the Santas on stage at once. The most memorable of them all would have to be “The Living Nativity” which is a re-telling of Jesus Christ’s birth and show the true meaning of Christmas.
The giant state-of-the-art L.E.D. screen on stage just takes everything to the next level. From enhancing the amazing images to adding that extra twinkle in the Christmas trees. There is even a 3D movie. The movie takes you on a 3-D ride with Santa as he and the reindeer come into New York City. It is truly a treat!
The Radio City Christmas Spectacular really magical and opens your eyes to the magic of Christmas!
