T.V Review: Olivia comes to Nickelodeon!

Olivia is wildly known for being a little pig with a big imagination in her books. Come January 26 this little pig will be going big places. Olivia will become a half-hour series on Nickelodeon. Preschoolers will get the chance to visually experience all of Olivia’s adventures whether real or fantasy.

The premiere episode is broke into two storylines.

First in “Olivia Measures Up”, Olivia is finally tall enough to ride the big rides but her younger brother Ian isn’t. After Olivia teases her younger brother Ian for being too short, Father mentions that some day Ian may be the taller sibling. Olivia is determined to try and stop that from happening.

Then in “Olivia Plays Hotel”, school is let out early due to snow so Julian and Francine come over to Olivia’s house. Olivia has just the game they should play- Hotel! She transforms her house into a make-believe hotel, but then some strange things start to happen. Will everyone enjoy their stay at Hotel Olivia?

I must say I have always loved Olivia and always will. Her books were so adorable and her show is equally as adorable. She is just like any 6 year old girl today, always looking for something fun to do. My favorite thing is the Olivia shows young children the importance of a good imagination. Plus she gives them great tips during her “Rules of Life”. With great animation and cute stories, Olivia is ready to be your child’s new best friend.
